Initial Visit

A new patient can typically expect to pay around $100-$150 for an intitial visit and the first treatment. Final Pricing is dependent on the problem. For a minor problem, their will be an initial evaluation for pehaps 10 minutes face-to-face with the patient. An expanded problem, may involve 20 mins of the physicians time, for low-to-moderate severity issues. A detailed examination of 30 mins will be required for problems requiring a comprehensive patient history, but medical decision making of low complexity. Comprehensive problems require a 45 minute comprehensive history, examination, and require moderate medical decision making. Finally, a Complex case will require 60 minutes of face-to-face time with the physician, along with a comprehensive examination and history, and  a highly complex medical decision. 

Acpuncture Treatments

Acupuncture is charged per 15 minutes of actual personal face-to-face treatement. Note that this is NOT the duration of the treatment, or the duration of the needle placement.  A pracititioner may have multiple patients, and will leave the needles in for longer to obtain maximum benefit.  You should be charged for just the face-to-face time. Typically there is an additional cost for electronic stimulation.
